Eighty-nine apprentices and craft trainees receive their apprenticeship and journeymen certificates after completing a four-year training program. The Associated Builders and Contractors San Diego Training Trust Class of 2017 has completed a skilled trades program in crafts including plumbing, pipefitting, electrical, electronic systems technician, and sheet metal. Their course of study included four years of classroom and lab training, plus thousands of hours of practical field experience.

At the ceremony, special honors will recognize exceptional student achievements including perfect attendance, honors graduates, and outstanding graduates of the year. The 2017 Instructor of the Year will be named at this event.
